Celebrate Paul Rodgers’ 75th Birthday!

Hey everyone, Paul Rodgers here.

Today, December 17 is my 75th birthday, that is approximately 27,375 days on this earth!  As I celebrate this milestone, I want to share some news with you.  I’ve started working on my memoir which will be a heartfelt gift from me to you. I’ll open up about my early beginnings starting with Free, Bad Company, The Firm, Solo, Queen + Paul Rodgers, plus before and beyond. I will also touch on my recovery from some serious life changing health challenges.

 To make it even more powerful, I’m reaching out to the fans, my friends, family, and fellow musicians to help contribute to the story from their perspective and that’s where you come in. You may remember I’ve always loved and encouraged audience participation!

I want to have your input, as you’ve all been a big part of this minstrel gypsy’s journey. Please share your pictures and memories that relate to me to my website and we’ll go through it and who knows, you just might find yourself in the pages of the book.

PAUL RODGERS RELEASES NEW SOLO ALBUM MIDNIGHT ROSE


One of Rock ‘n’ Roll’s Most Iconic Voices to Release

First Collection of New and Original Solo Music in Nearly 25 Years

Paul Rodgers, iconic lead vocalist, main songwriter and founding member of legendary rock band FREE and Bad Company, will release his his first solo studio release in nearly 25 years, arrives September 22 on Sun Records. A celebration of a storied career and a feel-good, hopeful look towards the future, Midnight Rose features Paul’s quintessential larger-than-life vocals in a whole new chapter of his career. Named one of Rolling Stone’s 100 Greatest Singers of All Time, Rodgers powers through all original, new tracks like “Living It Up,” “Take Love,” “Photoshooter,” and more.

The eight-track album is a collection of all new, original music completely written by Rodgers, with the exception of “Living It Up,” which was co-written by Rodgers and his band’s bassist Todd Ronning, and drummer Rick Fedyk.

The album was produced by Cynthia Rodgers and Bob Rock, and was recorded at Roper Recording and The Warehouse over the last 18 months with unique album artwork contributed by Paul and his love of 26 years, Cynthia.

“My new album ‘Midnight Rose‘ grew from sparks of ideas I had,” says Rodgers. “The sparks developed into a raging fire when the band and everyone involved brought their absolute ‘A’ game. I think it is my best album to date, I like it. I hope you do too.”
